Indian Lake (Logan County) — At time of article posting, the main lake was covered in a thin layer of ice still, but Moundwood is open and crowded, according to angler reports. Fishermen are doing OK on saugeyes and crappies using vibrating blade baits or jigging minnows. Some of the saugeyes being reported have been in the 15- to 16-inch range. Crappies have been a respectable nine to 11 inches.
Indian Lake is consistently ranked as the top lake in the state for saugeye fishing in both numbers and size, with most fish in the 15- to 19-inch range.

A Lakeview man and a mother and her son from London, Ohio, were killed in a crash that was reported at 6:03 p.m. Friday on State Route 117 near County Road 96.
Snow emergency cancelled as of 2:55pm Feb 20th.
Logan County Sheriff has issued a level 1 snow emergency until further notice.
Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive very cautiously.
Closure will begin around March 5th, after boat show weekend!
The bridge is expected to be closed for around two months.
A primary overpass across Black Hawk Run tributary on the north side of Indian Lake is scheduled for a complete upcoming replacement, and the impending two-month closure will impact motorists passing through; campers and other state park traffic; and emergency first responders.
The bridge is located in the 14000 black of north State Route 235 between township roads 93 and 250 at Barnes Landing. It is scheduled to close on or about Tuesday, March 5, and will remain closed to all traffic for about two months through the first half of May, according to information from the Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 office.
